I know it's been done before but I figure there's new products out there.
I'm 6', big boned (nearly 17 stone) and have chronic back issues. I'm looking for a chair that I can use without struggling to stand after sitting in it for half an hour.
My arthritis is also getting worse and, although I want it reclinable, the twisting of those cam wheels can be a problem during a flare up.
Any suggestions chaps?

The Trakker levelite longback recliner, or the same style chair the sonik sk tec
Look ideal for what you are after, I suffered a serious spinal injury and have tried a lot of chairs and these two chairs are what I'm looking at now.

Id suggest looking for the highest one off the ground , Not a low level kind of chair to start with , if you struggle to get out after a hour or so.

Hi just got the advanta discovery CCX chair from AD. On offer for £75 at the moment.
Used it today, very comfortable, high back that comes to my head (I'm 6 foot 2) support elastic under the chair as well (I'm 18 stone, so not light)
Ordered the solar lumbar support to use with it.
Looked at the trakker but this was half the price with the benefit to gnthr undeeat support.

Like most I've had loads of chairs and still have them kicking around
Needed a chair as a guest chair when in France so while mooching around go outdoors I picked up a dark grey camping one, not the smallest but it's the comfiest thing I've ever bought, high up, solid, adjustable.
It's all I use now, worth a try for sure, there's loads in there.

I used to suffer with aching back and hips but none of that since I have changed to a solar bed

I bought the Trakker longback. Decent comfort wise and very light BUT I now find myself going back to my NASH Big Daddy. The reclining options make a big difference to me and it goes nice and high. Some complain that the seat feels hard after a while, I don't find it too bad. It's heavy, but the most comfortable in my view.
