I am a bit confused with reel sizes, I have decided my 6010's need replacing as I have been fishing a place with cats in and the reels don't feel quite up to it. My gear is mostly old as I don't have loads of spare cash so I am hoping to go the second hand route. I also don't take notice of other people's tackle so haven't a clue when it comes down to what models are what and what size they are.. so on my list to look into are Shimano ultigra 5500, Daiwa emcast 25a and penn 7000, my question is do I have it right that these are all a similar size and are just a bit bigger than my 6010's and a bit smaller than my biomaster gt7000's.
I hope this makes sense. Any advice or pointers and other alternatives will be gratefully received..

The reels you have will be more than up to the job unless your fishing at distance. The emcasts are ment to be very good. They are a different shape altogether to your 6010's as the the emcast will be shorter in length but have a bigger wider spool.
