I'm looking recommendations for a good pair of waterproof trousers. I'm looking at the aqua f12 trousers but can't find many reviews. Anyone using them and finding them good? Or any alternatives that would do the job?

A pair of army goretex trousers is normally best I find, ebay or military shops such as military 1st...fully waterproof and breathable...
I personally use the helikon ecws ones...

I dont think you will be disappointed with the Aqua F12 trousers. I have them and also have the Nash Carabou (Too Heavy), Fox Chunk 10K Hydro (Noise/ stiff material) and the VASS Winter Bib/ Brace (No pockets). Cant remember the last time I wore the others, I always seem to go for the Aqua ones. They have very little thermal properties and in winter a set of thermals would be needed underneath. The main things I like about them are:
Really light.
Have zip pockets.
Dry fast when wet.
Dont make a rubbing noise when moving.
You can roll them into a tiny stuff sack.
Has a draw string so fits nice around the waist.
The "F12Torrent" writing on the bottom of the leg is starting to come off mine, I had them about a year now and they do get washed pretty much every week. I'm on my 2nd pair of these, ripped the first pair on some barbed wire, I liked them so much i bought them again.

Not a fishing brand but I use the Castle fortes flex trousers they are like a rubber material so don't soak up water like some so called expensive waterproofs highly waterproof , breathable i use them for both at work and fishing and find them great cheap as well at £14 of ebay check them out . They a also do a jacket aswell
