Hi, weve booked the lake exclusively in august for 48 hours. I've never been to the fishery before so was after any advice/tips that any of you that have been can pass on?
Ive tried contacting the fishery but havent managed to get through yet. I'll keep trying but any help is more than welcome.

Bramleys is a good lake, about 120 fish, there is the odd single, but loads of high doubles, 20's and some 30's. Swims are well set out, we tend to go for every other one to give more water. Fish tight to the banks under overhanging trees on the islands, but not on the ends of the first and second one's as shallow. The second island was a bank when it was 2 lakes, so has a hump coming from it. Don't use particle as the roach will have you up all night. Any good boilies work. The lake can be very on or off!

Thanks for the info daveman, do they respond to a decent amount of bait in there or just fish for a bite? Are the first and second islands the one closest to the car park?

Yes I'm saying first island closest to the carpark. I would'nt put to much out to start, to be honest I have not see any great difference in catch rates with the bunch I go with, some bait up some don't. I use a handful over each rig after each cast to start if that helps.

That's good to know, thanks. I think I'll try one rod on bait and the other with a stronger and see what happens.
I might see if I can get a day session on there before hand to give me some idea.
