I'm in the market for some new rods and having a look at the Daiwa Infinity DF's.

The X45's are the newer generation, with some sort of rod blank reinforcement.

The x45 infinity have minima guides which make the blank super Iight and more responsive , you can deffo feel a difference.The x45 Is carbon that is rolled on top of the blank in a diagonal basis which is supposed to strengthen the existing blank, the infinity x45 is one of the best blanks I've used .
