Are fortis glasses really all they are cracked up to be or would any amber/brown polarised lense do the same thing?
Also does the difference in price reflect the lense quality? What's the difference between the essentials and the bays? Apart from the frame style

Glass lenses will always be better clarity over Polycarbonate lenses
other than that I dont think the subtle differences between brands warrant the huge price differences but then I could be proved wrong as I have prescription lenses made

Nah, i think you'd be proved right. A bit of bent plastic is a bit of bent plastic, whichever logo is on it. The next time i get a pair of new glasses im making sure they are glass

I treated myself to some fortis glasses and was very unimpressed with them. I brought a pair of the Korda Polaroid's and find them brilliant! A third of the price as well

My glasses are fortis. I noticed at the weekend that one of the side lenses has fallen out somewhere. Very little use either.

Apart from the dog chewing two other pairs of Bays, I've had the same set of Amber Strokes for years and wear them daily. Had no issues. The Korda ones have metal on metal hinges, so IN THEORY should last longer than the Strokes, which have the screws within the plastic frame.
A quick google and you'll see both Korda and Fortis have identical pairs.
All chinese wrapped in different clothing. Some are Adidas 3 stripe, some try to be 3 stripes but end up being 2 stripes
