Can you use a solar panel to charge a lipo battery?

Generally no......but the 12v lithium can be charged apparently....think there is some on eBay.

Need an appropriate regulator

Also need somehow to balance the cells too.......probably use the panel to charge something like a Powapac atom then run the charger off that.

You could do it but you'd need a solar panel, a solar charger, a battery (like a 12v lead acid to store the energy you're obtaining from the solar panel), then you'd run your lipo charger from the lead acid battery to charge the lipo. It would probably be cheaper, easier and lighter to just buy more lipos and take them with you.

You can use the energy you get from the solar panels anywhere. The only problem is that you need an additional device to store energy and transmit it if necessary. I also have solar panels, and to energize my house, I bought an inverter herehttps://sbpe.com.au/collections/victron . It is a good inverter that converts direct current to alternating current. It is thanks to the inverter in my house there is always electricity. Thanks to the panels, I save a lot of money.

This saved my life. Been looking for a solar charger for a while, but I'm generally an idiot when it comes to this type of stuff. Was about to buy one in the next few weeks..
