It was looking like my new rods were going to be shimano Tx's until someone I know has recommended Nash pursuits. I'm looking at 12ft, 3.25lb rods........... any opinions or recommendations between each brand??
One person will say one thing, another something totally different, & another something completely different yet again. Never buy rods or reels or anything major unless you have seen & handled them first. Wait until the shops reopen again & then visit one of the larger shops such as Tackle Box, Johnson Ross, Angling Direct (spit! look at stuff but try to buy elsewhere if you can!), Jack Frost in Crawley, etc. What is good for one person may feel terrible & be completely wrong for someone else.

Totally agree. but with so many different makes available im just trying to narrow it down to the ones that get the most recommendations as think thats probably a good place to start.

Recommendations don't mean much either TBH. 5 people could say they are good & another 5 people could say they didn't like them. You have to go in to the shop with an open mind & find what is right for you regardless of what name etc it says on the blank/bag. If you go in there looking for specific items, then you may miss out on something that suited you better for less money even.
