Hi guys...I think my old rods have just about had it - ESP Paragon 12' 2 3/4 - and I'm not sure what to go for as I haven't really looked at any new rods for a while.

The water I'm fishing is about 30 acres, but the max casting distance will be about 60 yards due to some overhead cables in the main area of the lake, which calls for the dreaded bait boat.

Don't really want to spend much more than £200 per rod, although I'm intrigued by the new Aqua Atom 10ft. Do you think for the kind of limited casting I'll be doing a set of 10 footers might work better than the 12s? Any recommendations for rods to look at up to £200 would be greatly received

That sort of budget would get you some cracking second hand rods.. Anything by harrison would be my choice
