For as long as I can remember I've used a couple of feet of lead core which I have the upmost confidence in. Thinking of swapping over from shimano technium mainline to flouro this year . Just wondering what people's thoughts are on carrying on using the Couple of feet of lead core as opposed to using the flouro straight through, thanks

I would do exactly that , I fish Helicopter style ,using Korda drop off beads though.
