So whats everyones best tips on the bank? Little tricks that maybe small but make a huge difference. A recent one for me was the TorJet windproof lighter! Absolute game changer for blobbing knots and sparking up the stove.

Oh just thought of another, I have a bivvy light identical to the ridgemonkey one which is magnetic. Had to pack down in the dark a while back and it was pitch black, i stuck it to the front of my barrow and hey presto....a headlight for my barrow. dont worry it wasnt on full beam and didnt disturb other anglers.

Never pee in your own swim.
Don't punish other anglers on the bank or run round to them as soon as you see they have a bend in the rod/netting a fish.
Always carry your mug in your pocket when walking about looking for fish & NEVER walk into another anglers with it in your hand! Guaranteed way not to get a brew from me if I see a cup in your hand!
Buy a proper camping stove like a Primus which has a decent Piezo igniter on it. Will last a lot longer than the generic Chinese crap pumped out by the angling industry. My two Primus stoves are going on 30 & 20 years respectively & on ORIGINAL Piezo igniters still. Never been serviced either!

LED cycle front light works as well. Clamps on easily to the barrow. Cheaper than angling light solutions for sure
