If you had invested in a competent pre purchase inspection you would have had the chance to ask why the mould is there and what you can do to get rid of it. It is not just the mould that is the problem, just wiping it off and repainting over it will not solve the problem, but there are underlying causes that need to be addressed, that's why you need expertise.
