Evening all,
Can someone tell me the differences between the carplounge RT3 and RT4 please.
I am assuming the RT4 is larger than the RT3, would be interested in the dimensions if anyone has them.
Cant seem to find anything on the website.
Are there any other differences?

Had both.... similar sizes tbh
RT3 single central jet motor whereas RT4 double jet motors. RT4 is defo a step up in terms of quality but the RT3 is still an excellent boat.
Not as many option on The RT3 they only do a few extras to add. RT4 endless

Rt4 all the way, love mine. Had it over 2 years now, recently sent it back for a free service and check over.

Looks monster monster doesn't it, probably takes a week to charge, the big purple one I have takes a good few days

saw this... smart digital battery.... punchy price tag though... just upgraded my old RT4 with the new autopilot V3 GPS/mapping and Dragonfly which was not cheap. Looking forward to testing it all out once the lakes open. As per the post, I can't comment on the RT3 but the RT4 has been an amazing boat when I used it with the old lowrance x4 echo I had. I believe they have just opened a service center here in the UK too which will make life easier.

Yeah saw the new battery advertised. I ve worked out that it's much better value to stick with the purple one for long sessions.
No big advantage to the new one, extra weight negates the benefits of the extra capacity plus the management inbuilt is ‘superfluous' when you have a volt meter on the boat plus a decent charger ‘ie not the Robbe'
If it comes down to £220 max then it's worth it but not £275 IMO
They will sell plenty to the ‘must haves' though

Like you however, doubt I will be splashing out on the new batteries, I have 8 of the old ones so running out isn't normally an issue.
