Is anyone using a Carp Porter Tri Porter?
I recently bought the Fox Camolite Explorer barrow for £160 and have recently built it up and tried it around the garden but think it is too small. I'm thinking about selling it and going for the TriPorter which looks bigger and I like the idea of the extra wheels as I mainly fish public waters with paths.
Looking on the Carp Porter the front bar looks different to the Fox so I am wondering if I can still fit my Camolite barrow bag on the front or whether I need to sell that and buy a Carp Porter one?
I am unsure of the width but also the bar that comes out at 90 degrees and goes under the bag only looks about half the depth of the Fox bag.

For 90% of sessions I take, Fox Front Barrow bag with all food and tackle. Fox Duralite 6 bedchair goes on the barrow first, then a Thinking Anglers Unhooking mat unfolded, then Anatec Baitboat in padded bag (This is most likley causing me the most problems as it is massive) goes on top and then my rods and brolly over the top. Bait and water goes in the under barrow bag.

I had a Triporter with the fat wheels..just sold it and bought a Power porter extreme. (same model but the latest motorised one)
They are extremely stable when compared with a any other I have ever used. I have never taken them apart to transport them but wheel them straight into the vehicle.
with previous barrows I always had to do two trips to a swim, now I only do 1.
They are heavy (particularly the fat wheeled model).. especially when loaded because they have a large capacity, hence why I bought the powered one. (I am in my 60s).
I think it unlikely that another bag will exactly fit the front as it's an odd shape. The Carp Porter bags are good though but aren't cheap. I just transferred all the bags from one to the other.

My Fox barrow bag fits on my Porter no problems.

Had the tri porter for 2 years Would load the Gardner barrow bag over the back wheels and the bedchair over the front wheel. That way I could load the bivvy and the rids on top without fear of it falling over
You need to keep the weight on the back wheels not on the front

I would of said its the other way round, that's why they put the bit at the front for barrow bag's and it's easier to pivot/turn the thing with the weight over the front wheel, basic physics

You dont actually lift the barrow...you push it on its wheels. The weight needs to be as low down as possible and over the rear wheels particularly if you use the front bag you need to counter that overhanging weight at the front.
The central bag helps. I tend to put heavy items in there.

I know it needs to be balanced, having had one since they first came out about 10 years now.
And at times it does need to be lifted, that's why there are the two separate handles to the main crossbar.

I've recently brought the carp porter MK4s evo barrow and I'm really pleased with it. Comes with 2 bags as standard (Front/Middle) it's a joy to push compared to my old mk2 fat boy. And much more stable due to the extra 2 wheels. And it all folds away very nicely. Might be worth having a look.
