Im thinking of getting a 6ft rod for margin and surface fishing and small enough to take on holiday.

I usually fish with 9ft 2.5 TC rods.

Ive noticed the 6fts often have a higher TC, 2.75 or 3lb. is this due to the shorter size? i like a responsive rod and really want to avoid a broom handle!

any recommendations or what to look out for welcome!

Checkout the Nash Dwarf/Scope range. Lighter test curves.. I've had great fun at lots of different kinds of venues with mine
