Not quite sure on what reel to pair with a 3lb sawn off. Is the Daiwa GS LTD 3000 too small, is the SS2600 too big? Might of taken a punt of the Nash Scope reel, but not at the price they're after...

I've got the Nash BP-6 on mine, probably get slated but I think it balances well and never had a problem with it.

SS1600 would be my personal choice if your think a SS2600 is too big. I use SS2600's on Dwarf SawnOff's with no problems & they don't feel out of balance at all.

Thank for the reply's gents. I've ordered one of the GS3000's from Hull Angling, if it don't feel right to me it'll do for an Avon rod I use once in a blue moon and I'll look at the SS2600
