Anyone ever painted a rubber dinghy before? I have seen pictures where others have. If so what paint did you use and how well did it last etc?

Please don't use a cheap rubber dinghy for fishing, you're asking for trouble. Make sure any boat you use is safe and fit for purpose.

Hi Thanks for your concern,
The boat in question is a Zodiac so definitely not cheap and made for the job.
My only issue with it is it's bright white and would have liked it to blend in a little better with its surroundings, I doubt the fish will car it just a personal thing really

You have to find out which material it's made out of it will be either pvc or hypalon then buy the appropriate paint to suit,you can't use pvc paint on hypalon and vice verca

Absolutely sound advice there
Having owned one in the past, I completely agree and the importance is to find out which material your zodiac is made from and go from there. Well said Sunnymead

There's a fare few makes of paint but it ain't cheap around £50 for 500ml plus you might struggle to get anything that resembles green or say khaki,I did mine in black as the material was yellow so had to do it

Yes I have been looking, Black appears to be the only really viable option, however its better than white, it may have to wait a season and live with it being white as I cant pick it up until after the lockdown and from the reading I have done to do a proper job of it, it looks like there is a good weekend getting it cleaned ready for the various coats and pre-coats and I suspect Ill want to just get straight out on it.
