Hi
I've got a trip out in June (but I can see this won't be allowed to go ahead)
Anyone had any experience how angling lines are handling this crisis.

I've only ever had good dealings with them and I wish them all good luck 🤞 in these difficult times.

Cheers Mike

The fact that there is not even a reference to the Virus surprises me and if they are not even bothering to contact their customers that would be worrying if I was 1 of them. I would have expected more from them but there again I also would have done from Sports Direct and Wetherspoons, who eventually realised it is not just about profit and in the long term they coukld have been big losers. Best to contact Angling Lines as I am sure you know, all the best Mike and stay safe m8!

I had something from Angling Lines pop up on Facebook today.

C&P'd from Facebook

COVID-19 update

As of 8pm on 16th of March France has issued a ban on all non-essential movement from midday Tuesday 17th March. In addition there is a 30 day ban on crossing EU borders & whilst the French Government confirmed that these restrictions will not apply to UK nationals, they can only enter France if travel is essential. So we effectively have a 30 day ban. Also as of 17th March the UK Foreign Office advises British nationals against all but essential international travel.

This obviously affects holidays within March & April and we will be contacting all of these customers affected to advise on a case by case basis and look at options.

Please bear with us at this time as we work to contact everybody to discuss – we will be busy on the phone lines and so if you call in you may not be able to get through. Rest assured we will work as quickly as we can to get the best solution possible for all parties.

Anyone with a booking from the 3rd May onwards, please know we will be in touch with you once we have more information and would appreciate your patience.

The sheer volume of calls & emails we need to deal with means that we will not be able to respond via Facebook from this point onwards. However, please be assured, where you have a booking with us we will be in contact with you as soon as possible.
Are you sure?
