It's a big eye opener all of this, isn't it
We are finally realising money has no value.
Your amazing job is no longer an amazing job, your expensive clothes now have no worth and no one gives a **** how you look anymore.
Your big house is just 4 empty walls like everyone else's.
Your nice car is running on 4 tyres, the same as everyone else's.
We are finally seeing who the important people are, the ones who make a difference to our lives and are doing the crucial jobs we need.
Shop workers ✔️
Care workers ✔️
NHS staff ✔️
Emergency services ✔️
Farmers ✔️
Teachers ✔️
Lorry drivers/delivery people ✔️
Cleaners ✔️
Refuse workers ✔️
These people are the ones who keep our country ticking over, the core of our daily lives, the people who regularly go unnoticed and are often frowned upon but keep working hard, generally on a low income.
People constantly look down on them and gloat that they earn more money than them.
But what worth does your money have now?
How secure is your job in the real world when we take a step back to reality?
I'm proud of all of these people, they don't earn enough for what they do, and they're never appreciated for what they contribute.
Be kind to them, thank them, go out your way to tell them what an amazing job they're doing.
Could you imagine how **** this would be without them??

but you know as soon as things like the footy season restarts and all is 'good' again it'll all be quickly forgot by many.

Yes I totally agree and I realy hope when this is all over people remember how companies like Weathspoons treated their staff

Not just weatherspoons, I read that Amazon in US started a fund for their drivers but also asked the public to give, and Bezos is the richest man in the world 😡 but also Branson/Virgin, Ashley/Sports Direct and numerous others hopefully memories are long.

I do a lot of work in Wetherspoons and most of them are absolute ****holes, the, the company spends very little money on any form of maintenance and as for the toilets...well they are toilets in the trueist sense of the word, I wouldn't be surprised if that's where theis virus came from, never seen a cleaner in them once, Tim Martin is a total ****, he may have been for Brexit and did speak some sense on the subject but he was the first to moan to high heaven when the government said the pubs had to close wanting to expose his badly underpaid zero hours contract workers to a deadly virus...despicable! and not interested in anything but profit, then he tells them to all go and work for Tesco's
As for that other despicable **** Branson who sits in his hilltop home in the Caribbean and tells his workers they'll have to go on unpaid leave whilst asking the government for a handout without touching his billions
I hope people do have long memories and boycott the like of JDW, Virgin, Sports Direct once this is over, the only problem with that is its the normal working men and women that will suffer, these despicable billionaires will be fine in their big mansions
To all the heroes, Doctors, Nurses, health care workers and all the people in Gerry's list, thank god we have them in these troubled times
