Seen screenshots of them arguing with a customer refusing to rearrange dates or refund any money doing everything possible to keep every penny of customers money quoting terms and conditions Not even attempting any compromise in fact giving people the short shrift

By paying a deposit/payment you have deemed to accept and adhere to all our booking terms and conditions for your stay.
All Deposits are £100 and Non Refundable under any circumstances
Full Balance due is due by 8 weeks for lodges and 12 weeks for lake bookings before holiday commencement date. The booking will then be confirmed to you. Non and late payments will result in the booking being cancelled by the property owner and the deposit will not be refunded.
No Refunds will be issued after the final payment date under any circumstances. Please consider Holiday Insurance **
They are following their rules ....... and quite right too.
This is anglers crying into their soup , because they thought they could save a few bob to spend on boiles rather than the correct insurance.
Why does everybody think this is the holiday providers problem ???
On this thinking ..Nobody would ever feel the need to buy insurance again.............

Most fisheries are at least offering alternative dates and some anglers have also lost jobs etc this lot are rigidly sticking to their terms with no intention of any compromise goodwill etc and no intention of losing a penny unlike everyone else .Well at least we know which fisheries deserve our support. Waterside just rang me up to tell me they are closed and offered a rearranged date when this is over

That's good to hear about Waterside. I have the lake booked in May and the way things are going, I suspect that will not be happening.
