Angling direct had a post on facebook this morning about the grand opening of there Bristol store and telling every one to come and meet the team and take advantage of the 10% discount on everything in the shop. It dosent really get any more idiotic and irresponsible than that in the current situation. Utter madness, putting profits before staff and customer safety. I will never use them again, not that they have anything in stock anyway mind.

Certainly is mate, they got absolutely slated and now they have removed all the comments. Its still up on there facebook page if you click on it. They have removed the ability to make a comment though 😀

The advert was probably conceived some time ago so I'd imagine it will be rewritten before that date?

The advert was only posted on facebook today so they knew exactly what was written on it. It should of been re written before it was put on. They have removed all the negative comments today as there were loads yet the advert still reads the same. “ come and meet the team and grab 10% off everything in the shop. They should no by the speed its spreading that its going to be even worse by the 4th april. ****ing idiots.

Its would be pointless going to the shop anyway as they never have anything in stock. They should follow johnson ross and close the shops and do mail order only. They are a big enough company to do it.
