Changed my tournies over to Korda touchdown which is a great line, going to respool my ultegra's but going to use the line reducers as 500m of 0.40mm line is excessive my question is does anyone know how much each reducer takes off the capacity??

Need some more information to help you , is it a 14000 Ultegra ?

Sorry should of specified yes mate, I have sets of both the 14000 xtc ci4 and 14000 xtd's both have huge line capacities which would get expensive

As a general rule to the spacers you will ‘generally' need to use the 10,000 spacers if you want around 300m of 0.4 on them , the 6000 reducer won't give you that I wouldn't have thought , you'll still have to back on top of the 10,000 spacers though a little I think

So would the 6000 give around 250?? Cos even that is plenty I fish smaller lakes

No chance I'm afraid mate , you'd be lucky to get 150 on them , good for braid though

Using the 6000 reducer i got approx 250yrds of 0.35 (15lb drennaline) on my XTB'S

Cheers bud, I reckon with 0.40mm touchdown I will be lucky to get 200yds which is a bit too close for comfort
