Am I wrong in thinking all armo v3s should have chains in the poles

They did briefly use chains but swapped the V3 back to elastic in 2014/2015 due to problems with the chains.

Ah that's ok then, just got a manufacturer repaired (though I can't see where) v3 and I expected chains.
