Nice link Gerry
Sadly I think we need 80% off as nobody will be allowed outdoors if this outbreak carries on

We have one in Gloucester but get zero as they now don't sell fishing items. Instead they put fishing Republic in the same store and now you get no discount at all. Even the club card not allowed. You can't even order on line because was soon as you put a Gloucestershire post code in it will say no available.
Peed a lot of people off and they will not use fishing Republic now.

This is what happens when you let businesses be run by accountants.
They know the cost of everything and the value of nothing. That store will lose customers and the bean counters will be over the moon.

Not true Wayne, some accountants don´t act like stereo typed accountants even a retired 1 (me), I never did!! Perhaps some of us didn´t adopt everything written in the books we studied, it is better to sell something and make a profit (forget the gross margin) than not sell anything at all, any gross profit achieved is a contribution to overheads, no sales = no contribution to overheads = bigger loss, simple really!

You mentioned 'some' a couple of times there David.
There's still some that would rather sell little but at a higher percentage profit if that's how their bonuses are calculated.
Worst accountants are the ones that close down parts of a business not because they don't make money but because compared to other parts of their business it's not enough, the excuse is it's not part of their core business. No consideration to those that lose their jobs

Dave. Your accountancy firm was that creative I'm surprised you weren't running it from Bellmarsh.
