They had a lot of problems with leaking take a look at New wychwood brolly look at thread on here

Save your money. Load of 💩 nothing but problems with the two I had. After they sent me the second one with problems I gave up

Just got rid of mine!
Plastic skull cap fell off, the storm pole threaded parts on the brolly fell off, and fibre glass front pole broke!
Don't buy one!
Got a Tempest Advance Brolly now!

Can anyone get the damn things to stay up using the centre pole? I have to push open the brolly then dive on it to unscrew the pole and screw in the black bit before it collapses!

If its like the mk2 then when you push the sleeve up the pole to the top it like 'locks' in place until you give it a pull then it will push itself back down the pole
Sounds like yours is misssing something
