Hi folks! I hope someone here can enlighten me on this.

I've been searching around for some Cassia Terpenes for a flavour blend I'm putting together, and ordered what I thought was Nutrabaits Cassia terpenes from an eBay seller (image and item selection both stated Cassia Terpenes) but I was sent Nutrabaits Cassia as currently sold.

I did email Nutrabaits to ask if there current Cassia was the same as their previous Cassia Terpenes, but have failed to get a reply.

As I understand it, essential oils and terpenes are two different animals. Essential oils contain Terpenes, but Terpenes are a derivative of essential oils.

Am I right in thinking that I have been sold an essential oil of Cassia instead of the Terpenes of Cassia?

Does it make any difference bait wise? (Should I send the stuff back to the eBay seller is what I'm getting at here)

Can you point me in the direction of a supplier if indeed they are different?

Ta very much!

I will be really interested in any answers you get, I am nearly out of my cassia terpenes and was sort of wondering the same thing.

I inquired about this a while ago and the answer I got from Nutrabaits was that the cassia eo they sell is the same as the cassia terpenes they used to sell. Just has a different label on the bottle. I can confirm that they are exactly the same after comparing a bottle of the newer stuff to the older stuff.

Just to be clear, the a terpene is a part of an essential oil. It is not the same as the essential oil itself.
Are you sure?
