all this talk about French carp fishing...

has anyone found a lake with villa/chalet with swimming pool on a lake in either Spain or Italy?
fly by plane, and rent all of the gear? that would be ideal...

There are quite a few company's still operating on the Ebro in Spain that would fit your criteria ....you could fly into either Barcelona / Reus / Zaragosa ....Barcelona being furthest away with 2hr + drive
Or if fancying being a bit more of an adventurous / unknown then Extremadura Region in central Spain which has huge wild carp to 80lb and Comizo barbel to 40+ lb ..bit more of a journey though as you would need to fly into Madrid and be picked up by your guiding company or hire a car and then approx 4hr+ drive
Are you sure?
