I know Delkim recommend using the same colour indicator as the alarm, but does anyone know if they work using a different colour to the alarm ? Surely the alarm just sends a signal to the bulb in the indicator ?

They'll work definitely. But having them all the same colour....
A) Looks cool
B) Attracts more fish

They may match the impedance output of the alarm to the input of the nite lite but I doubt it.

They definitely work but I heard the same so not sure what long term damage it could do .
