I'm going to be fishing the carpark lake at Frant in Kent next week. Has anyone any tips?

No one fish Frant?

Used to fish it regular untill the owner got a bit arsey with me but that was a good few years ago, method or solid bags with small pop up cast towards the path id have 10+ fish in an afternoon

God that's a blast from the past I used to fish it all the time as a kid as I only lived in frant.
Before it became a day ticket water paddock wood angling club had it used to be good surface fishing easy catch 20-30 fish a day...

I was there Saturday just gone and blanked. The water was pure brown from the storm the other week. I'm guessing that might of effected the clarity for the fish to find the bait..

Was at frant again last Saturday on the carpark lake. Was a brilliant day. Very nice place. Caught 5 Common carps between 8lb and 15lb.

I also used to fish it on the PWAACS ticket, must have been the mid-80's

First 'proper' carp water I fished

Remember night fishing with no bite alarms just a coin balanced on the open spool with a saucepan lid under it. Didn't get a wink of sleep with worry I would miss a bite

Not been down there since PWAACS lost the waters so it has probably changed (a little!) since then so no help to the OP.
