Looking for a syndicate/club in Bedfordshire I've been looking mostly into Luton angling club or Shefford Angling club. After a mix of waters preferably somewhere that's a runs lake or easier for my boy to come with me then somewhere that if I put the work in it will hopefully really pay off!

Both fit the bill really.
Shefford has airman for you and broom for your son.
Luton has North House for you and Beckerings for your son. Beckerings does have a bit of a climb from the car park.

I'd say these days Willington would be more suitable for the dad , the airman Is piss easy for the carp, not much harder than broom

So they're both decent I've heard that about beckerings, have you ever fished Kempston? Haven't heard anything good about it personally...
Also canal wise mixed some people say all the carp have gone but is that just people who don't want you fishing where they want to be?

Otters are rife around these parts so it would be no surprise if the carp had gone from the canals. They've wiped out the river in biggleswade of all the carp and barbel that were there

Seems to be the case everywhere on natural waters, something needs to be done.... But it won't be.
Would you're preferable be Luton or Shefford AC then? Any other places other towards Biggleswade/Bedford that's decent I've fished a few but always looking for little jems.

Canals in Tring/Leighton Buzzard area have lost a lot of fish over the last few years due to Mink/Otters /old age But most have been poached for food and for illegal stocking of other waters
Worst affected Aylsbury Arm fish taken to stock a local lake that was them hit by otters

Shefford is a decent ticket chap, well worth the money. I've not bothered with the luton ticket before so can't really answer anything about it. The letchworth ac ticket might be worth a look for you, they have the Henlow Grange complex which is good for a bite

There's Biggleswade and hitchin they have some good waters all there lakes are fenced

Think I'm going to go with the Shefford ticket this time around. I'm on the waiting list for Dunstable AC aswell but haven't heard anything about it. Don't even know the stock. All very secretive.
I've walked the canals around Tring/Aylesbury since I can remember but never fished them, the old man hated fishing canals so never really got a chance.

Ask me anything you like about Dunstable angling club. I was a bailiff for a few years and on the committee. They'd never have me back and all the sound lads I fished with have either lost their tickets or moved on to better waters. So no skin off my nose.
Believe me there's nothing in there worth being secretive about.

Are there still a good head of tench in willington? And do they reach a decent size? I sometimes do a bit of early season tenching, always looking for a new venue. Tia.
