Interested in the compact version of the Aqua Delux unhooking mat for stalking.
My only con earn is the stated size (I've never seen one “in the flesh”).

So, has anyone had a big carp (40 plus) on the non-XL version of the mat?

Has anyone at least seen these in-person?

I had the same dilemma and in my opinion the standard is too small if you are possibly targeting 40lb plus Carp. Don't get me wrong the fish would fit on it but head and tail would be close to each end which doesn't give much room for error. should the fish kick....it will be off the mat.

Totally agree with Spod. I went for the xl as will cater for any size fish and virtually no difference in weight.

Is there much difference in size between the two when folded up?
The mat would be used as a stalking mat hence my questions
