Ok I'm still a beginner learning the ropes. My line is 15lb Shimano Technium black. I want to use a basic hair rig as I am still learning how to tie rigs etc. I also want to use solid PVA bags (so I guess I'll be fishing off of the bottom). So what braid would be best for what I want to do for the basic hair rig guys? Any ideas? Something easy for me to use and tie to catch me some carp.....

In solid bags as supple as possible like Korda super natural or similar. For normal hair rigs I'd recommend a semi-stiff material. ESP range is good like tungsten loaded, n-trap is good or there tungsten one, I also like the Nash one but unsure what it's called.

Didn't rate fox camotex feels plastic coated.

Keep the rig the same but use a supple rig inside the bags, stiffer material for normal rigs.

If you are on Facebook there is an excellent group called World of carp rigs... Very friendly group with everything you need to know, videos etc about all sorts of rigs, from very experienced anglers to new comers like yourself it caters for everyone...

I would say keep it simple to start, knotless knot, get comfortable with this and don't get bogged down with complicated rigs.
Look on the recommended face book page for advice and I hope you catch a few, just remember to keep it simple as fish don't have the intelligence some would think.
