Hi guys I'm sure been asked many times about condensation in the bivvy but can't find in the search. I own the tempest brolly with winter skin and still get condensation. Thinking of selling to get the tempest bivvy?as they say no condensation with the Aquatexx fabric??can anyone confirm that the Aquatex fabric eliminates condensation with the cap or winter skin. Thanks for any info guys.

I have the V2 Bivvy with the skull cap and yes it eliminates condensation, you do however still get a bit on the sides below where the cap ends, at least you don't get anything dripping on your head, works well for me

I've been using a tempest composite for years with an overwrap and hardly ever get any condensation at all.

If you are a door down carper then condensation will form. But never had a problem with tempest brolley and winter skin but i always had the door open!
V2 bivvy same as odd condensation on sides not covered by skull cap, but only at head end due to breathing and heat escaping from bag

I have a V1 Tempest bivvy and never take the skull cap off
I never have the door down never get condensation on the roof area a bit on the sides but very little

I have the tempest air and wrap and haven't suffered with condensation

If your cooking and brewing up in there you will get condensation and even more on a night with a door down. Air flow is the only thing that will reduce it.
I've got the V2 bivvy, I've never suffered with condensation but there again I never have my door completely done up. It's open all day and then a letter box at night.

Thanks guys for info. Yes I only used the wrap the last two sessions last week,and yes had the door zipped up as lashing wind and rain. Will try again with the door open. Hopefully works and saves me selling for the aquatex bivvy. Thanks again

Always try and keep a little gap in the door bud else you will suffer with condensation no matter what bivvy you have, I always try keep the door down letter box style that definitely helps a lot
