I'm really interested in making my own homemade quality HNV bait.
I want a high milk and quality fishmeal bait with john bakers plum and squid.
Really not sure where to start there are so many options and I'm not sure of what percentages.
I know there have been lots of threads on this but as times change and suppliers come and go, I would like an up to date opinion.
I just really need a starting point of percentages of each ingredient and where to buy from.. I can spent around £100 maybe a bit more to start.
Is there a single supplier that will supply everything I need?
I had a look at bacarelexpress but not sure if it's good value? Also they only do 1kg or 25kg of most items... confuzzled! But have to start somewhere!

Looking at what you want I would have a look at BAF and their ready made mix TropAmino it seems to be what you want.

Bacarel is a great company, top notch human grade ingredients for the milk proteins, and have many of the nutritional Amino Acid sheets available online already or by phone call/email.
Which is handy for us bait makers.

Does this contain enough milks would you say to be a high quality milk protein bait? What inclusion rate would be classed as high? 50 %

No idea on milk protein levels, ask on the FB page someone there will know. In a fishmeal the milk protein is adding to the effectiveness of the fish meal, anything between 10 and 25% milks will be fine.

50% fishmeal, 25% CLO, 25% milks. Simple.

It is 40% fishmeal, 15% milk proteins.

Do you know what the other 45% is?

I would guess around 15% which is enough to make a difference but also keep cost reasonable.

TropAmino HMBB Basemix is a top-quality blend of high end ingredients that include LT94 Fishmeal, genuine refined Milk Proteins such as Acid, Rennet & Whey Protein Concentrate (80%+ protein), CPSP 90 Pre-Digested Fishmeal, Brocacel Yeast, Spices and Betaine HCL.

No mention of the other 45% ingredients, but I would think the usual bulk/carb/birdfood/binding types that make a bait roll and boil up nicely.

OK, so the other 45% is:
20% CLO
10% semo
10% soya
5% brocacel

So I could add an additional amount of milks to make it even better or would that not work against the other ratios?
I've also bought some GLM to add to it
Also what milk from BAF would be best to add as I would add to my order
Are you sure?
