Afternoon all,
Thinking of booking here for April or September next year and was wondering if anyone can give me a heads up peg wise please? As it's a venue where as you know you have to book a peg in advance and not do a draw on arrival.Peg 1 is tacking my fancy due to the amount of space but hopefully someone will point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.
Paul

Fished it 4 times, 2006, 2007, 2008 and then a 11 year break when we returned in 2019. It used to hold a lot of fish, I don't think there are as many any more. It used to be full of chats, but it was clear the last time we went. It's very snaggy around the island and edges, there are a few tree stumps in open water in front of a few swims. There is a map that shows them.
The road bank is the least snaggy, silty and fairly flat bottom. The opposite side, up towards the island is very rocky, you'll blunt hooks for fun.
All that said, there are some good carp, cats and sturgeon to keep you busy.
