Nice little lake, quite weedy.
Fish tight to the weed or in the clear holes.
Make sure you have good strong line and end tackle, there's also a big cat in there!

1. Keep lapping the lake until you see fish activity (bubbles, fizzing, shows etc)
2. Lead about to Find a clear spot near to the activity (spot within a spot even better)
3. Put 10 spods of your chosen boillie (crumbed and chopped) over it
4. Cast an untangled rig with a sharp hook and quality bait on the spot
Rinse and repeat
If you Catch then repeat steps 3 & 4
Keep watching the water for more activity, move if you think you have a better chance elsewhere.
This goes for every carp water on the planet

Only one cat? That's a shame, as we had a great time fishing for them. In fact fishing for them led me to spend a decade chasing the biggies in Mequinenza, and staying away from the increasingly commercial carp scene. I believe I caught the second 40lb cat out of there and my wife had the third..............and it was bigger then mine.
Is the common called Colin still in there?
It also used to have some cracking rudd and I had a couple of two and a half pounders on float tackle.
