So my JRC Extreme Sleep System Arrived to day.
I opted for the standard 6 leg that comes with 4 normal legs and one at either end.
Ordered through Pecheur it took 12 days to arrive but I expected this.
Total price was £207 in delivery against a RRP of £380ish
Pecheur where great filling me in with all delivery progress.in ALMOST perfect English.
Box arrived battered but no issues with bedchair.
Overall first impressions Im really pleased.
I'm 6FT and 18 stone and there is little sag and it feels sturdy enough.
The sleeping bag has a few options and looks warm enough
I've come from a Rod Hutchinson Big Kipper XL which was massive and weighed a tonne so was looking for something more suited to over nighters. I've got to say nothing I've seen comes close to the quality of the RH sleeping bag which was waterproof and rated to -8.
The JRC is 16KG all in
Will get out in it soon. The main test will be how it performs on the bank and in 6 months.

Pecheur normally excellent but just been let down on a Gazebo we ordered and 14 days later just a refund no explanation....
Not too happy as missed out on a good reduced price they were offering.....

Sadly I've only been out in it the once but so far so good.
I have a massive Rod Hutchinson Big Kipper XL Sleep system as a comparison. I'd say that that is a true 5 season I'm not sure how warm the JRC would be on the real cold nights. It's so big and thick you could sleep in the attic. It's also waterproof and the JRC is not.
I'm 💯 happy with it after one night. Reasonably lightweight and firm. I'm 18 Stone
One thing I'm yet to work out is the zip.on the top and what it's for.
I had a great deal on it.
Still too early for a proper review yet

when you say One thing I'm yet to work out is the zip.on the top and what it's for. is that not the same as most dual layer sleep systems? top zip under one layer for spring summer and possibly early Autumn bottom zip under two layers and usually directly on top of the bed mattress for mainly winter fishing.

Just an idea but is the zip at the top to open a cavity for a pillow same as my Avid Thermarest?

it's 2 sided if that make sense I don't no y but that's wot I think it is mine came yesterday and had a lil play with it so if the top is dirty u can turn it over ?
