Been looking at the Solar A1 range specifically the bank sticks and 3 Ros buzz bars or maybe getting hold of the 3 rod pod.
Does anyone have any good or bad reviews for any of these as I cant find much on the internet about them. Is the quality way behind the P1 stuff as that stuff seems really expensive.

It is the P1 range but made from a dark anodised aluminium instead of stainless. Nothing more, nothing less. Solar metalware isat the top of the game & Lockey would not let it out the door if it wasn't that is for sure.

Your having a laugh, it's design maybe the best but quality really is NOT that good anymore more like ok a bit ropey.

I'm not sure what to go with now the solar P1 world wide has adjustable legs but the A1 apparently does not.
I thought getting a pod would be the best idea as I can use it as a pod or single as just sticks and buzz bars.

No I am not. May not be made in house any more but I know where it is made (still in England unlike a lot of the so-called top end stainless). I have some 'top end' stainless from a cult individual who is deemed to be the best at stainless products, yet it has gone rusty where the threaded sections fit on to the solid bar. Never had any Solar stainless do this! If anything the build quality is actually better than it was in the past. Certainly impressed me with the P1 Worldwide & P1 Sod pods if I am to be honest. No play and extremely good tolerances on the moving parts & they lock down tight as well without needing to be manhandled. We all have our own opinions & last time I checked, we don't live in North Korea where all our decisions are made by the Supreme Leader. Some people may think rusting is acceptable because Mr Hearn uses the same manufacturer of stainless, but I am a bit surprised at it doing so especially as I dry my bars & sticks before putting away as well as oil/WD40 them regularly as well. I suppose it adds up to its carpiness in that is has the vogue orange speckled "camo" pattern on it

The A1 does have adjustable legs still but only in the way of the legs extending. It does not have the ratchet system adjustment like the P1 Worldwide does (probably why it is not called the A1 Worldwide)

Check the stainless over and you'll notice that it's not even round. The edges are shape enough to cause harm etc.
It's good kit but it certainly ain't great in finish.
Anyway as for pods the WW stainless is certainly the best pod on the market although the finish isn't great but I'm being fussy. Don't really care when it's on the bank and doing he job.

Anyone got any idea what the diameter is of the A1 Range of gear? I like the chunky ranges, nowhere seems to state what it is on the Solar stuff.

Just brought a P1 WW
Used it for the first time out last week....lovely bit of kit so easy to set up and pack away.
Pleased with it
A1 also looks good too
