Ok. So got bk from a week this afternoon. The fish were good looking with 35 carp caught between 6 of us, unfortunately it was 2 swims that produced all but 3 carp upto 54lb. Those of us that struggled tried everything from pop ups to snowman baits, ronnies to kd rigs but to no real reward. The toilet is minging and in our opinion a lot of the swims are a bit dodgy with a 3 to 4ft drop from the boards to the water which made landing fish and putting a bait boat in fairly precarious. I heard some chat about the water level being low but they have pipes connecting the 2, and other, lakes which were only 6 inches higher than the water level so still a big drop. The lakes are very snaggy and the carp were sat up in the snags most of the time. You can tempt them out so if you like a bit of that you'd love it. We spent hours watching them to see where they came in and went out. We saw some absolutely gorgeous big carp in there but which was enjoyable. They have a bloke that meets you and he seemed really nice, couldn't speak a word of English, so had to use google translate but obviously forgets things you've said as the water we were told would be brought to the lake never turned up and the beer he said he'd get us never did either.
Theres a camp site 10 minscaway where you can pay 3 Euros for a shower and plenty of Intermatche within that driving time.
In short i wouldn't go bk but if you like roughing it for some lovely looking fish you might like it, also there are obvious signs of trimming fins going on.
This is my personal opinion but felt i had to share as not much info on it.
