I have been using 9ft 2.75lb scopes for the last 3 years and they have been brilliant and had fish up to 30lb but they are now starting to look worse for wear as they have had a lot of abuse. I was going to get another set of scopes but don't want spend £600 to replace them. I really like the look of these and was thinking of getting the 3.25lb as they seem good for the money I could get 3 for £468 from Johnson Ross. I was just wondering if anyone here currently owns them and could give me any info on them thanks.

It turns out they are boat carp rods lol can anyone recommend any decent 10ft 3.25lb rods for similar money thanks.

I wouldn't worry about them being "Boat" rods. You can use them on the bank.

I had a look at them recently and was put off by the thin tip section.

The tackle box CF-X rods seem to be well regarded as well as do the shimano tribals. There is also the Torrix, that is a bit more, but a very nice rod. The stalker has a slightly shorter handle, but they also do an abbreviated version that has a standard length handle.

What do you want them for?

Even though they class them as boat rods their still fine for use on the bank they probably just have a slightly shorter handle on them compared to the scopes

I bought the set 10ft 3.25lb abbreviated in the end and am using them for the first time tonight and am very impressed they feel so much nicer than my scope's they look alot better the too. The only thing I would change would be the purple whipping by the butt section.
