On that basis, what mix is their GS Crab based on?

Abs enyzme - The GNZ is a natural, highly digestible fish base mix which uses our fish enzyme liquid, our devastating garlic concentrate and very low levels of flavours.
G'S CRAB -
The GS Crab is our number 1 selling fishmeal bait, with good reason, as it has a reputation of hammering the waters it's been used on.
A proper big fish bait, the GS Crab is a dark brown fishmeal bait, made from a blend of top quality fishmeals, bird foods and milk proteins.
The GS Crabs main liquid attractors include a garlic concentrate, liquid fish enzyme, and an excellent crab flavour with essential oils.
Dark brown in colour will work all seasons

Recieved my mc nut today, service is very good only thing I have noticed is the pot of wafters I ordered look more like dumbells and chunks missing out of a lot of baits and they behave more like pop ups. The freezer bait is spot on, smells lovely and good soft texture ☺️

To be fair some waft and some are more boyant so no big problem and nothing that would stop me ordering more bait from them

why does everyone even entertain going to these "bait companies" who use goofs basemix with a slightly different artificial flavour?
They're re-sellers nothing more.
A bait maker formulates bases, makes it from scratch, and puts their name on it off their own back.
The next distinction is bait makers who know what they're doing and then people who really don't but think they do.
The next distinction is between the two who know what they're doing, which has the integrity to make less but keep a higher quality? and formulate mixes to catch carp rather than be a great seller?
you pays your monies. But I will say ( and unbiasedly ) you'd of been better off going to the source.

Must admit I've often wondered myself why people would buy Oxfords MC Nut for example, instead of buying maple nut straight from ABS. Especially when you can buy it a fair bit cheaper from Geoff (depending on quantities ordered and frequency of orders). Then it struck me as being obvious, you can order straight off Oxfords website instead of picking up a phone! Online ordering is so convenient these days and as yet it is not available on ABS' website. That is the only logical reason I can think of anyway.
