Of course he's getting paid. Although it's probably more than the statutory sick pay that many people have been faced with. I expect they were all getting paid while at the many Christmas gatherings and cheese and wine evenings too. Scumbags the lot of them.
As for Blair and the knighthood- have you seen / signed the petition for it to be revoked?

Think people trying to get it rolled back are pissing in the wind as it's the queen who gave it and not parliament. The queen could knock it back, wouldn't hold my breath on that one though.

Exactly, the decision is sanctioned by the PM who is a tory, then ultimately the head of state, the queen. No amount of protesting will reverse the decision.
No matter what you might think about the bloke and the decision to go to war, which the majority of Tories also voted for, I doubt we have had a better PM in my opinion, life under the Blair administration was very very good.

I'd say life appeared to be very good. But it does feel like it was like the country was living off a new credit card and it was those who followed him who had to arrange the repayments...

As for the war lies... that's a whole extra level of deceit

That reminds me, there was quite a big community of HIV+ve folk in the US in the 90s who were banging on about how HIV wasn't so bad, how Big Pharma were cashing in on it and how it could be managed by diet and 'alternative medicine'. They're not quite so vocal nowadays, because they're all dead.
