My Croatian trip gone now....
On 12 March the Croatian government announced that it will introduce with immediate effect a compulsory 14 day period of self-isolation for all foreign nationals arriving from the following destinations: the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Austria, Netherlands, China, the Republic of Korea, Japan, and Singapore. Foreign nationals who do not have a residence in Croatia will be asked for proof of an accommodation booking.

Have to pay the remainder today for our trip to Jurassica2 in May. Very unsure whether to cancel or pay the remainder in case of any sort of travel bans are put in place or quarantining? Doesn't usually take much for the french ports to drop tools.

Good enough?
That was 2 days ago, they've got an extra few thousand cases to deal with now.
The policy isn't 'outrageous', it's a tragic reality and a pragmatic solution of the problem of having many more patients than ventilators.

UPDATE: Advised by the wife's doctor to cancel the visit as she falls into the "at serious rick" category should she pick up the virus. Heeded that advice...

There will be other trips Ken! Maybe just a sugestion... I know there is an issue because of comercial reasons, paying fee for advertising... But anyway maybe forum should allow a thread for a month or two where anglers could put down what weeks and where they had to cancel so others could possibly jump in and with that maybe helping anglers and owners to loose less money...

That's a shame Ken but all you can do is carry out the advice given.
And that goes for the rest of us, unless you a conspiracy theorist all we can do is act on the advice we are given.
Keep well and look after your missus.

Fair play bluewater. I am more hopeful now that maybe we can still travel after all? They seem pretty confident the border will remain open. 🤞

Great to see Bluewater setting the standard. All other foreign fisheries need to follow their example.
I note that where I live (Kent) there are currently 11 cases in a population of 1.654 million people. Worse times to come though no doubt.
