I was worried I was being too much of a traditionalist I'm not liking this product, but this shows me nope there are thankfully alot of anglers who still prefer the carp to have a chance to make us look silly.

However the bloody thing doesn't actually work well most of the vids and the package itself show it not set off, but more importantly I think someone mentioned the baitworks pod so I listened and mark hits the nail on the head if you get cut off that contraption will equal a dead carp if the lake is snaggy or weedy

I'm against banning things for the sake of it but this product is the typical fish at all costs that Ali is trying to market his company for and I'm glad it's getting banned left right and centre kinda says it all that one of the few allowing it is RH fisheries and their pellet force feeding mantra means they don't mind if one of their big uns gets tethered will just force feed a load more and a local to me that is very much that fish at all cost type place are allowing it

Fortunately it's such a dire product that it won't be too popular. Read on Facebook a lad saying it had taken 5 wraps off his cast it was so big and cumbersome. Made me think there will be a lot of crack offs due to people forcing the casts.

Genuinely surprised they have not recalled it

To recall it he would have to finally admit he was wrong im not sure his ego could take that after the massive hole he has dug himself defending the product and pressure he has put on people.

I fully believe along with many others that this is a death rig that will kill fish a lot of us have already seen pics of the fish trailing the twig along with a ball of weed, and ali's response to that!

I think recalling it would be a huge problem for OMC most of their products up to now don't require massive outlays on tooling, for that product they will have spent a truckload on tooling to produce it, and as others have pointed out Ali's ego won't allow it anyway, can see his ego rampant when he called the hundreds of lake owners and managers who have banned it naive, Ali needs to learn some hubris, I suspect the EA may look at the Thames bye law for this thing and make it country wide

A real business man would let it drift out of the news to stop it damaging omc , promote other game changers , and let it go out of production with " manufacturing problems " . Once you have built up a siege situation with a blind following it's hard to stop . Hard situation for OMC but shows korda dodged a bullet with him as he was a bit grinding with them . He has done some good stuff , not breaking the arms live on Facebook was a killer , but his ego is now stuck having to defend.

like you say ,he could of let his run its course, not pushed it and the **** show would have died down,those that wanted or seen the need to use it would have on the few waters allowing it...
