There hand sharpened but the best hooks I've used are the j precision advanced hooks. Same price as normal hooks as well.

As long as you make sure you get the sharpened ones the hooks that aren't sharpen don't seem to be very sharp at all... I love the shape of their hooks, but the unsharpened, I can lift a 5oz lead without getting scared.

I personally use Kamakura hooks but I do as a matter of course change the hook after every fish.... yes that is costly in the long run but 50p per fish is nothing compared to what we spend on everything else

This has certainly improved my catch rate
