Very sad news, remember talking to him at one of the Sandown shows, game across a very down to earth nice guy, who knew is job in the fishing industry, sadly missed Iain .

My respect and sorrows to the family and friends in this sad time!!
Really upset me today when the email came through from DNA!
Met Tong several times when visiting his house for cast off's...I got his trakker weigh sling which became my sacred sling knowing what he had caught in it!! 😘
I Remember how excited he was to show me the new Shimano Techniums when they first came out back in the day in his spare bedroom and I really didn't know him!!
His garage was his man cave and he showed me around even though we were new to meet.!!
We will miss you...A carp with your name on I hope? 🙂

So gutted i've been away and some how i've missed this terrible news.
I never met the man but was always happy to watch his videos and listen to his thoughts, i've even made some fluorescent coloured leads because of him. He was diagnosed a little while after my mum was so i was always interested in how he was doing and the last video i saw seemed positive, cancer is just **** .
Rest in peace Ian, i hope all his family take warmth from all the people that will miss him.
