We're looking at 17 as a double, but even that doesn't look overly spacious.

Suppose it's one way of moving the fish about by filling the bay with lines.

I agree with mr brightside mate, you could get away with it in 17 but I wouldn't say it was exactly comfortable for 6 rods, I'd imagine a few crossed lines would be the norm. 16 is never big enough for 6 although I've seen it done.
If you do end up in 17 just make sure you give them some beans if they try & go right side margin as there's a sunken tree and all the lumps head straight for it 👍👍

17 & 18 work well as a good swim combination if you can get it .

That's us booked in peg 17. Having peg 18 too would have been nice, but would make it a very expensive trip!

Would be nice if it was empty though.. I take it there are swims kept free incase you fancy a move?

*Heads up to anyone going parco in 2019*
The fishing has been tricky for most anglers this year all over the lake but especially impossible in the bay swims for most, no doubt the removing of the trees has had a huge knock on effect but most probably also way too much bait going in at the same time. talking to anglers all season & everyone says the same, the bay is in a bad day way atm, I'd say since April 75% of anglers that could move, have all left the bay for another swim, my party included.
Just heard (July) that rotten baits are floating up & slicks coming from what must be old beds of bait in there.
Not trying to put a downer on anyone who's got a trip booked but better to know what's going on & be prepared. My advice, obvious but DONT put large beds of bait out unless the fish are having it & most importantly speak to anglers via FB & at the lake to see what's going on..... dont believe what your possibly getting told by the management

I'm there in September . May be it makes the lake less swimmy ( that was the plan ) and gives every one a better chance of getting on the fish . Might sort the men from the boys and make you angle for them rather than just piling the bait in

Early days but so far this year it hasn't really changed anything for other swims apart from make the bay almost impossible to have a decent result from & keep most the fish stacked up Infront of 7&9. Think it'll be the next couple of years that shows the true changes as this year the fish are obviously trying to find a new routine.

I think 20, 21 and 22 have fished better as a result of the work to the bay

Who have you spoken to mate to get that info? I know a good few people that have been this year including myself & 21/20/18 haven't done anywhere near the usual numbers for them, infact the general thought from all is that the fish are reluctant to even come over the bar into the area for the most part. I know some decent anglers have been out in 20 this week & couldn't buy a bite until later in the week but did manage a good number in the end & the lads in the bay even went to go fish at ghost park it was that dead

Yes mate it's all completely gone now from the side of 16 all the way around to 15, the reeds have started to grow over there already though so I'd imagine within a couple of seasons it'll be looking nice & hopefully the carp will feel abit safer over there

I was there in April and fished 16 and had 11 fish ( biggest 61 ) but boy was it hard work . All bites , bar one , came in the dark and in the margins . 17 and 20 fish ok and they had about 15 fish each from memory . Rest of the swims were patchy
Are you sure?
