My sis does a thing called casualties union where she gets made up with injuries and 'rescued' from mangled cars or mountains and stuff by firemen and mountain rescue blokes with beards. Unsurprisingly, she loves it

As far as I understood, the term 'crisis actor' is used exclusively by conspiracy nutters who think events like the Sandy Hook school shooting were staged, using 'crisis actors', to influence public opinion.
