Let's be honest,no manufacturer is going to make an alarm everyone likes.Too big,too small,they are ugly,they need this,they don't need that.All the top alarms work well,yes some have issues but what electrical item doesn't.At the end of the day buy what you like and what you can afford

I agree and to be honest at this sort of level your getting a top end alarm. Delks are iconic but so are fox. There's a fag paper between those two imo.

Delkims for me, been using the TXI+ for 20 years and still going strong. v good cust service too
I'm currently in this exact dilemma. Iv always been a Delkim user , tbh I love them . I have the txi plus and they are about 12 years old i would guess . My only issue with them is the receiver needs to be better .
Have they improved the receiver on the txi d ‘s ?
I wouldn't be considered the fox alarms if it weren't for my angling pals who absolutely rave about them . I think drop back differentiation is a great feature

I had the same reservations, however the TXID receiver is superb, infinitely better than the Plus.

The indicators we all spend a fortune on, and your eyes do the same thing as drop back differentiation.
If you prefer delks, you will want delks if you buy the rx+. And vice versa. Both are as good as eachother, and i have owned both unlike a lot of people who will tell you one is better than the other

You can't be sat watching your bobbins all the time though and the drop back differential is a great feature to have imo

You only need to look at them when the alarm starts sounding though. Fair enough with delkims you cant tell by sound, but you know by the time you get to the rod which way the fish has gone as you can see where the indicator is.
