I stumbled across their stuff years ago and I've watched their content since, back then they were a couple of young lads with an obvious passion for angling and vlogging their fishing exploits way back before they were anything to do with any tackle manufacturers, just a couple of young lads enjoying their fishing and putting their content out there even though it was a bit Heath Robinson at the start, it was refreshing to watch their enthusiasm.
One of their first vlogs I watched they were catching loads of little bits on a French fishing holiday with their parents getting excited like all young kids do just happy to be catching anything, I doubt they had hardly learned to ride a pushbike by then and now they've moved out of home both made what looks like a half reasonable career out of something they had a genuine passion for they've fished all over had some epic fishing in their short lifetimes and fair play to them if they enjoy doing it I wish them all the success, they have honed their skills at both fishing and videography got picked up by two of the largest carp tackle brands not just in this Country but all over Europe, that's the path they chose to walk I would say best of luck to them.
The life Jacket thing I agree with but you can watch a thousand fishing videos and see mistakes in them by anglers who have been at it a lot longer and still at it putting content out just like it, does not make it right I know but it still gets put out there point it out yes but don't condemn them for for it.

Alan Blair always comes across as a really decent guy. Don't know if you never saw it or heard about it, the story of when Gary Bayes set Alan up on the tidal stretch of the Chelmer. Always makes me laugh thinking about Alan waking up in the morning with all his tackle bobbing about in the water as it had risen so much

I can put another perspective on this
I grew up sea fishing living literally across the road from a beach
Google Shoreham Lighthouse and I lived opposite !
1979 my dad bought me 14ft boat with a Seagull outboard, a small anchor and a set of oars
I used to drag the boat across the beach at 14 years old and go about 2 miles out fishing without a care in the world and without any life jacket .... Totally wrong but my old man was not big on risk assessments to be honest
It seems we live in a world were everyones looking to be offended
If they was doing this mid Jan then jump on them but FFS ..... If they cant get out a lake in mid summer then we are ruined ...... Whats next - everyone laying in a bivvy with an auto inflating life jacket on in case they fall in when they get a run at 3 oclcok in the morning

just because its summer means nothing. every year around my way in Essex some young lad or lass dies from swimming in the deep pits..the cold either gets them or getting caught up in the weed..

Spot on. Just because Carl n Alex are genuinely lovely lads does not exempt them from drowning. A life jacket should always be worn in a boat.

A statement would be the best answer apologising and warning people of the dangers. Even a short video admitting their error of judgement.
Watched bits and bobs of the stuff they've done and generally enjoyed it. Watched one earlier that I presume is very recent. "Shark fishing" my arse. Taking the piss to put that in film on a public platform 
seen a video of Darrell Peck out in a boat without a life jacket, think it was the French pit one, but it was only once in the film, he wore one on every other occasion. he clearly just forgot in the rush to get in it. I've never fished from/with a boat but imagine its easily done at times.
